Wasn't sure if this is the right place to post it, but Himaruya just made his latest Taiwan doodle. Isn't she adorable? I'm hoping her next one will be with another Asian country.

What exactly do you think the relationship is between Japan and Taiwan is? It's really impossible to say precisely how they feel about one another, and what their interactions are like since there hasn't been anything with them directly interacting with one another!

I know that some fans like to think of a tragic pairing where they're forced to separate and are never able to re-unite. I've also heard interpretations where it's one-sided with Taiwan, or one-sided with Kiku only wanting sex (insert reference to comfort women). Others think of it mostly as a brother-sister relationship.

No one can say any of those is right or wrong until Taiwan 1) makes an actual appearance in a strip/episode 2) is shown interacting with Japan. So I'm just interested in any other interpretations of Taiwan/Japan. :D
